In 1889, in the village of Isigny-sur-Mer, a certain Mr. DUPONT created a butter trading company. By admiring the Norman bocage, he had the idea of creating a dairy he called Dupont d’Isigny in 1894. In 1932, one of Mr. Dupont’s employees, Ernest Fleutot, a great chef and fine gourmet, offered him a unique caramel recipe!
